Various control measures have been announced to control the spread of CORONA in Tamil Nadu. These restrictions announced by the government will come into effect from 10-04-2021. Following this, the e-pass procedure has been implemented again in Tamil Nadu. This means that E-Pass is mandatory for other states to come to Tamil Nadu from abroad.

E-Pass is required though to go to tourist sites apart. Accordingly, the e-pass can be easily obtained as announced by the state government.

The simplest way to get an E-Pass online

• To get an e-Pass you must first go to https://eregister.tnega.org/#/user/pass
• Then you need to register your phone number.
• An OTP number will be sent to your phone number.
• You must enter that OTP number.
• There will be many questions asked about your trip.
• You will be asked if you go there alone or in a group.
• You will then be asked about the vehicle you are traveling in.
• Click on the correct ones.
• This will open another page for whatever option you click on.
• On that page you will be asked which way you are coming to Tamil Nadu.
• If you choose the road way, you will be asked what you are coming for.
• Many reasons are given such as marriage, death, travel.
• Click on the required ones.
• The applicant will then be asked for details of how many people are traveling with him.
• The name, age, gender, mobile number and identity card of the person who wants to travel in it should be recorded.
• It is mandatory to scan and register the identity card.
• Finally you will be asked about the vehicle you are traveling in and its number. You can also register if needed.
