Age Limit :
- unior Research Fellow (JRF)-28 Years
- The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Visually Handicapped/Female whereas 3 years in case of OBCs (Non-Creamy layer candidates).
Salary :
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF)-Rs.31,000/-
Education Qualification :
- BE/B.Tech in Ceramic Technology/Engg.; Glass Technology/Engg.; Metallurgical Engg.; Materials Engg.; Chemical Engg.; Nanotechnology; Biotechnology* ; Electronics & Instrumentation; Optoelectronics with valid GATE Score
- *Candidates with B.Tech in Biotechnology with valid GATE score and subject to securing a minimum 85.00 percentile in GATE are eligible
- Candidates with ME/M.Tech degree and all those eligible for direct-CSIR-SRF are NOT ELIGIBLE
- Students awarded JRF-GATE fellowship by CSIR-HRDG, New Delhi, can get register for Ph.D in AcSIR only. As the JRF-GATE fellowship is awarded for pursuing PhD and, therefore, there will be no automatic exit after M.Tech.

Selection Process
- Tentative date of list of publication of eligible candidates on the website for online interview after screening/short-listing based on criteria fixed by the screening committee: 11.06.2021.
