Total Vacancy - 13 Posts

Age Limit :

• Engineer Mate-18 to 30 Years
• Artisan-18 to 30 Years
• Tradesman-18 to 25 Years
• Seman-18 to 25 Years
• Greaser-18 to 25 Years
• Unskilled Industrial Worker-18 to 25 Years
• The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Salary :

• Engineer Mate-Level 5 in the Pay Matrix (29200/-) (Rs.29200-92300) as per 7th CPC
• Artisan-Level 5 in the Pay Matrix (29200/-) (Rs.29200-92300) as per 7th CPC
• Tradesman-Level 1 in the Pay Matrix (18000/-) (Rs.18000-56900) as per 7th CPC
• Seman-Level 1 in the Pay Matrix (18000/-) (Rs.18000-56900) as per 7th CPC
• Greaser-Level 1 in the Pay Matrix (18000/-) (Rs.18000-56900) as per 7th CPC
• Unskilled Industrial Worker-Level 1 in the Pay Matrix (18000/-) (Rs.18000-56900) as per 7th CPC

Education Qualification :

• Engineer Mate -
• Essential : i) Holder of Engine driver of Fishing Vessel Certificate issued by MMD. ii) X Class or equivalent. iii) 5 years sea experience.
• Desirable :  i) I.T.I. Diesel Mechanic certificate. ii) Certificate of safety and survival at sea/tire fighting/first aid.
• Artisan -
• Essential: i) Diploma in Mech./Electrical Engg. / National Certificate of vocational training / Apprenticeship in reputed craft building yard in hull construction in Fibre Class Re-inforce Plastic with minimum 4 years experience. ii) Two years practical experience on Diesel Engine repair / Electrical and Electronic equipment repairs / Fibre Class Re-inforce Plastic and wooden craft repairs.
• Desirable:  i) Sea experience ii) Experience of repairs on small craft.
• Tradesman -
• Essential : i) 1.T.I. Certificate in Mechanic/ Diesel Mechanic/Fitter/Turtier/Welder/Electrician/ Instrumental/Carpentry ii) 10th Class or equivalent iii) 2 years experience in Engineering /Automobile/Ship Repair organisation.
• Desirable :  i) Experience in Fibre Reinforce Plastic lamination and repair work. ii) First aid/fire fighting/Industrial safety course.
• Seman -
• Essential : i) X class pass or equivalent ii) Three years experience in sea going mechanized vessel with two years in helmsman and seamanship work.
• Desirable :  Certificate of competency as "Mate of fishing vessel" issued by Marine Mercantile Department.
• Greaser -
• Essential : i) X class pass or equivalent ii) Three years experience in sea going mechanized vessel on main and auxiliary machinery maintenance.
• Desirable :  Certificate of competency as "Engine Driver of fishing vessel" issued by Marine Mercantile Department.
• Unskilled Industrial Worker -
• Essential : i) 10th Class pass or equivalent ii) Should be fit for strenuous physical labour.
• Desirable : i) ITI Certificate in Mechanic/Diesel Mechanic / Fitter /Turner /Welder / Electrician /Instrumental/ Carpentry trade. ii) Experience as mate or assistant or helper in Automobile/Industrial Workshop.

The envelope (28 ems x 13 cms) containing the application must be super-scribed in bold letters as `APPLICATION FOR MARINE WING POST - CUSTOMS COMMISSIONERATE, PUNE and also indicate POST APPLIED FOR and CATEGORY at the left side corner of the envelope.
