Age Limit :

• 1. Engine Driver - 18 to 30 years (relaxable for Govt. servants upto 40 years in accordance with the instructions/ orders issued by Central Govt from time to time.
• 2. Sarang Lascar - 18 to 30 years (relaxable for Govt. servants upto 40 years in accordance with the instructions/ orders issued by Central Govt from time to time.
• 3. Fire Engine Driver - 18 to 30 years (relaxable for Govt. servants in the case of general candidates upto 40 years in the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes upto 45 years as per instructions or order of the Govt. from time to time).
• 4. Fireman - 18 to 27 years (Relaxable for Govt servants in the case of general candidates upto 40 years and in the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes upto 45 years as per instructions or order of the Govt from time to time)
• 5. Civilian Motor Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade) - 18 to 27 years (Relaxable for Govt. servants, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Class candidates as per Govt. instructions issued from time to time).
• 6. Motor Transport Fitter - 18 to 25 years Relaxable for Govt servants upto 35 years in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Govt from time to time.
• 7. Store Keeper Grade II - 18 to 25 years (Relaxable for Govt. servants upto 40 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Govt)
• 8. Spray Painter - 18 to 25 years (Relaxable for Govt servants upto 35 years in accordance with the order issued by Central Govt in this regard)
• 9. Motor Transport Mechanic - 18 to 25 years Relaxable for Govt servants upto 35 years in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Govt from time to time).
• 10. Lascar - 18-30 years. (Relaxable for Government Servants, Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribes and Other Backward Class candidates as per Government instructions issued from time to time)
• 11. Multi Tasking Staff (Peon) - 18 to 27 years (Relaxable for Govt.servants, scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and other backward class candidates as per Govt instructions issued from time to time)
• 12. Unskilled Labourer - 18 to 27 years (Relaxable for Govt. servants, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Class candidates as per Govt. instructions issued from time to time).
• (i) No age and other relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates for the posts earmarked for UR category.

Education Qualification :

• 1. Engine Driver -
• Qualification: Matriculation pass from a recognized Board or equivalent.
• Essential: Certificate of competency as Engine Driver from a recognized Govt. Institute or equivalent.
• Desirable: Two years service as Sarang on a vessel of over four hundred Boat Horse power.
• 2. Sarang Lascar -
• Qualification: Matriculation pass from a recognized Board or equivalent.
• Essential: Certificate of competency as Sarang from a Govt. recognized Institute or equivalent.
• Desirable: Two years experience as Sarang in-charge of a vessel of twenty Horse power.
• 3. Fire Engine Driver -
• Essential:
• (i) Matriculation pass from a recognized Board or equivalent.
• (ii) Possessing heavy vehicle driving license with three years experience of driving heavy vehicles in any of private or Government Organisation/ Institute.
• Desirable:
• (i) Experience with the use, maintenance and operation of different types of Fire Fighting equipments and appliances and
• (ii) Experience of working in a regular civil or Defence Fire Brigade as Fireman.
• 4. Fireman -
• Essential: (a) Matriculation pass from a recognized Board or equivalent. (b) Should be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties.
• Note :- The physical fitness shall be tested as per the following physical standards :-
• (i) Height without shoes – 165 Cms. provided that a concession of 2.5 Cms in height shall be allowed for members of the Scheduled Tribes and candidates of hilly areas.
• (ii) Chest (unexpanded) – 81.5 Cms
• (iii) Chest (on expansion) – 85 Cms
• (iv) Weight – 50 Kg (Min)
• (v) Endurance Test: (1) Carrying a man weighing 63.5 Kgs by fireman lift up to a distance of 183 meters within 96 seconds. (2) Clearing 2.7 meters wide ditch by landing on both feet (long jump). (3) Climbing 3 meters vertical rope by hands and feet.
• 5. Civilian Motor Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade) -
• Essential:
• (i) 10th standard pass.
• (ii) Must possess valid driving licence for both heavy and light motor vehicles.
• (iii) Should have at least two years experience in driving motor vehicles.
• (iv) Knowledge of motor mechanism (should be able to remove minor defects in vehicles).
• Desirable: Qualification
• 6. Motor Transport Fitter -
• Essential:
• (i) Matriculation or equivalent.
• (ii) Two years experience in automobile workshop.
• Desirable: I.T.I. diploma in relevant trade.
• 7. Store Keeper Grade II -
• Essential:
• (i) 12th pass from recognized Board or University.
• (ii) One year’s experience in handling stores from any recognized firm or Central or State Govt organization or Public Sector Undertakings.
• 8. Spray Painter -
• Qualification: Matriculation pass or its equivalent from recognized boards
• Essential: Should have completed apprenticeship in the trade from Industrial Training Institute or other recognized institutions.
• Desirable: 02 years experience in the trade.
• 9. Motor Transport Mechanic -
• Essential:
• (i) Matriculation or equivalent.
• (ii) Two years experience in automobile workshop.
• Desirable: I.T.I. diploma in relevant trade.
• 10. Lascar -
• Essential:
• (i) Matriculation pass or its equivalent from recognized boards.
• (ii) Three years experience in service on Boat.
• 11. Multi Tasking Staff (Peon) -
• Qualification:
• (i) Matriculation or equivalent pass
• (ii) Two years experience as office attendant.
• 12. Unskilled Labourer -
• Qualification:
• (i) Matriculation pass or its equivalent from recognized Boards
• or
• ITI from recognized institutes.
• (ii) Three years experience in the trade.

• The envelope containing the application must be superscripted as ‘Application for the post of _______________’. Application should be submitted by Ordinary Post only. Application send by Speed Post / Registered Post / Courier will not be entertained. Self attested copies of educational certificate, age proof, driving license for CMTD(OG) for both heavy and light vehicles, Trade certificate as required, certificate for EWS/OBC/SC/ST and experience certificate, if any, should be enclosed with the application. Proforma with regard to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) is placed at Annexure II. Candidates in Central Govt. service should submit NOC from their present employer alongwith applications. Crucial date for fixation of age limit will be the last date of receiving applications.
