10,000 vacancies will be filled in the Tamil Nadu Police
Vacancies in government departments in Tamil Nadu are currently being announced. In that regard, it has been reported that 5,831 vacancies will be filled through the competitive examination under the Group-2 examination this year.
The Board also said that 5,255 vacancies under Group-4 will be filled soon.
It has been announced that there are vacancies in the police following other departments as well. In Tamil Nadu, through the Uniformed Personnel Selection Board, competitive examinations are conducted for secondary police posts such as firefighters, prison guards and constables. Those who pass it are assigned to the police force.
The last selection for TNUSRB jobs was held in 2020. The fitness test for the successful candidates was conducted in the year 2021 and the certification verification process was completed. The graduates were then trained on February 1. But training was postponed to March 1 due to the impact of the third wave of Corona.
With 500 sub-inspectors already selected, the vacancies have now been announced. In other words, DGP Silenthrababu has said that 10,000 new constables will be selected in the Tamil Nadu Police by 2022. He also urged those who aspire to work in the police force to take advantage of this opportunity.
