Age Limit :
- Between 18 to 23 years as on 01.08.2021. (The candidate should not have been born, earlier than 02.08.1998 and later than 01.08.2003).
- Note :-
- (i) Relaxable upto 05 years for SC/ST and upto 03 years for OBC candidates. Relaxable upto 40 years in the case of departmental candidates as on 01.08.2021.
- (ii) Candidate claiming age relaxation on basis of OBC status must ensure that he/she possess the caste/community certificate and does not fall in creamy layer on the crucial date. The crucial date for this process will be the closing date for receipt of application i.e. 31.03.2022 Candidates may also note that in respect of the above, their candidature will remain provisional till the veracity of the concerned document is verified by the Appointing Authority.
Salary :
- Head Constable (General Duty) - Pay matrix Level-4 (Rs.25,500-81,100/-) plus usual allowances as admissible to the Central Government employees from time to time.
Education Qualification :
- 12th pass from a recognised educational Institution with credit of representing State/ National/ International in games, Sports and Athletics.
Proficiency in Sports: :
| Individual Event | i) Should have represented the country as a member of Senior/Junior International tournament. Or ii) Should have a medal winning performance in Senior / Junior National Games / Championship. Or iii) Should have represented a State or equivalent unit, in National Games/ National Championship in Senior /Junior level. Or iv) Any medal in all India Inter University Championship. Or v) Gold Medal in National School Games/Championship. |
| Team Event | i) Should have represented the country as a member of Senior/Junior International tournament. Or ii) Should have won any medal in the National competition at Senior/Junior level. Or iii) Should have represented in State team or equivalent unit, in National Games/Championship in Senior/Junior level. Or iv) Member of medal winning team in All India Inter-University Championship. Or iv) Gold Medal in National School Games/ Championship. Note: The person should have been the playing member of the team. |
| Note: (i) Candidates who have not acquired the essential educational qualification as on closing date for receipt of the Application Form, will not be eligible and need not apply. (ii) Candidates should note that only the Date of Birth and Name as recorded in the Matriculation/Secondary School Examination Certificate will be accepted for determining the age and name. No subsequent request for any change in the Date of Birth or Name will be considered. (iii) Only those meritorious sportsmen/sportswomen who fulfill the above eligibility criteria and have participated in the championships during the period from 01.01.2019 to 31.03.2022 or in last edition of any Tournament / Competition/ Games (as applicable), will be eligible for applying the post. |

SI No Competition Authority awarding certificate 1 International Competition Secretary of the National Federation of the Game concerned 2 National Competition Secretary of the National Federation or Secretary of the State Association of the Game concerned. 3 Inter-University Tournaments Dean of Sports or other officer in overall charge of sports of the University concerned. 4 National Sports/ Games for Schools Director or Additional /Joint or Deputy Director in overall charge of Sports/ Games for Schools in the Directorate of Public Instructions/ Education of the State. 5 Physical Efficiency Drive/ Performance Secretary or other Officer in overall charge of Physical Efficiency in the Ministry of Education and Social Welfare, Government of India.

How to Apply :
- Applicants must send their application as per ANNEXURE-„1‟ for the discipline mentioned in column No.1 to the authority mentioned against each at Column No.2 along with application fees of Rs.100/- (Rupees one hundred only) in the form of Postal Order/ Demand Draft from State Bank of India drawn in favour of the officer mentioned under column 3 below and payable at the post office/bank as shown in column No.4 therein so as to reach latest by 31.03.2022 (05:00 P.M) and in case of residents of North East region by 07.04.2022 (05:00 P.M) along with attested photo copies of requisite certificates/documents. SC/ST and Female candidates are exempted from application fee.
- Note :-
- (i) Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances nor will it be adjusted against any other examination or selection.
- (ii) Fee paid by modes other than Postal Order/Bank Draft will not be accepted and the application of such candidate will be rejected forthwith and the payment made shall stand forfeited.
- (iii) Bank Draft other than State Bank of India will not be accepted and the application of such candidate will be rejected forthwith and the payment made shall stand forfeited.
