• The Salary is given for Research Associate – Rs. 47,000 plus 24% HRA/month

Education Qualification :

• JNU requires Ph.D. candidates to apply for their Research Associate notification 2022. The detailed information has been given below or you can verify it on the official notification itself.
• Ph.D. in Plant Molecular Biology/Plant Biotechnology/Botany/Biotechnology/ Microbiology or related areas with at least 2 years of work experience.
• Desirable: Experience in gene cloning and mutagenesis, recombinant protein expression and purification is desired. Preference will be given to candidates having first-hand experience in handling and culturing of Phytophthora or related plant pathogens under laboratory conditions, their genetic mutagenesis and imaging by fluorescence microscopy techniques on a case-by-case basis.
• Tenure: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The selected candidate will be appointed on a temporary basis, initially for a period of one year, and then maybe extended, based on satisfactory performance, by the Principal Investigator for a maximum period of three years.
