- Graduate Apprentice Trainee-Rs.9000/- per month
- Technician Apprentice Trainee-Rs.8000/- per month
Education Qualification :
- TWAD requires Diploma in Engineering, Degree in Engineering candidates to apply for their Apprentice notification 2022. The detailed information has been given below or you can verify it on the official notification itself.
- Category – I Graduate Apprentices:
- A Degree in Engineering or Technology (Full time) granted by a Statutory University in a relevant discipline.
- A Degree in Engineering or Technology (Full time) granted by an Institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of Parliament in a relevant discipline.
- Graduate examination of Professional bodies recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.
- Category – II Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:
- A Diploma in Engineering or technology (Full time) granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in a relevant discipline.
- A Diploma in Engineering or Technology (Full time) granted by a University in a relevant discipline.
- A Diploma in Engineering and Technology granted by an Institution recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to the above.
- Note: Only 2019, 2020 & 2021 passed out candidates are eligible for applying the apprenticeship in TWAD.

Selection Process
- The Board of Apprenticeship Training (SR) is entrusted with the task of preparing a shortlisted candidates list from online application data. Shortlisting of candidates will be done based on the CGPA / Percentage of marks obtained in the basic prescribed qualification as applicable to the respective disciplines. Shortlisted candidates shall be intimated through their registered Email id to appear for Certificate Verification at TWAD Board, Chennai.

- Please note: After verification of student enrolment by BOAT (SR), a student can able to login and apply:
- Step 1:
- Login
- Click Establishment Request Menu
- Click Find Establishment
- Upload Resume
- Choose Establishment name
- Type “TamilNadu Water Supply and Drainage Board” and search
- Click apply
- Click apply again
- For students who have not so far enrolled in the National Web Portal:
- Step 1:
- Go to www.mhrdnats.gov.in
- Click Enroll
- Complete the application form
- A unique Enrolment Number for each student will be generated.
- Please note: Please wait for atleast one day for enrollment verification and approval. After this student can proceed to Step 2.
- Step 2 :
- Login
- Click Establishment Request Menu
- Click Find Establishment
- Upload Resume
- Choose Establishment name
- Type “TamilNadu Water Supply and Drainage Board” and search
- Click apply
- Click apply again

- Last date for applying PWD TNthe-10.06.2022
- Declaration of Shortlisted list-15.06.2022
- Verification of certificates for shortlisted candidates-23.06.2022 to 24.06.2022
