- VOC Port Trust job required a minimum of 55 years to a maximum of 65 years with good sprite.
Salary :
- Training period (6months)-₹80,000
- After obtaining the license, piloting up to 20,000 GT-1,35,000
- Full tonnage / unrestricted tonnage-₹2,00,000
Education Qualification :
- VOC Port Trust requires Master Degree candidates to apply for their Pilot notification 2022. The detailed information has been given below or you can verify it on the official notification itself.
- Be an Indian National
- Must possess a Master (FG) Certificate of Competency. An Indian citizen with a foreign Certificate of Competency (COC) and recognized by India, must acquire relevant endorsement from the DG Shipping, Government of India.
- One-year sailing experience as Chief Officer and above in Foreign Going ship, post possessing the COC as Master (FG)

- Note:
- TRAINING:
- a. The engagement of the contractual trainee Pilot shall commence on the date of his joining for duty. He will be required to undergo training for a period of six months and successfully pass the prescribed examination unless the Chairman otherwise determines. However, he should successfully complete the requisite training and re-orient himself to the pilotage requirements.
- b. Trainee Pilot engaged on a contractual basis shall continue to be termed as Trainee Pilot till the time, the license is received from the Government for piloting the vessels independently at VOC Port.
- WORKING HOURS
- The duration of working hours of a trainee Pilot / Pilot on a contractual basis will be 12 hours ON DUTY and 12 hours OFF DUTY with a weekly off. If he is not allowed to avail any weekly off due to some exigencies of Port’s service, he may be permitted to avail compensatory off in lieu of the duty performed by him on the weekly off within three months from the date of the weekly off. He will report to the Deputy Conservator, VOC Port Authority (VOCPA), and will work in accordance with the instructions and the directions of the Deputy Conservator, VOCPA.
