Education Qualification :
- ISEC requires Masters Degree, Ph.D. candidates to apply for their Associate Professor and Professor notification in 2022. The detailed information has been given below or you can verify it on the official notification itself.
- i. Ph.D. degree in Agricultural Economics/ Economics.
- ii. Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics/ Economics with 55% marks in the aggregate or equivalent grade.
- iii. A minimum of five (5) years of teaching experience in University/College, and/or experience in research in a contractual/regular faculty position of which not less than 5 years as a regular Assistant Professor at the University/ College/National level institution, excluding the period of Ph.D. research.
- iv. Contribution to educational innovations, design of new curriculum and courses, and technology-mediated teaching-learning process with evidence of having guided doctoral candidates and research students.
- v. A minimum Academic Performance Indicator (API) score of 200 during the assessment period of any three specified calendar years in the immediately preceding six calendar years (January 1 to December 31) based on the Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) developed by UGC in its regulations approved by ISEC (to be filled in the attached Excel sheet and submitted soft copy).
- Desirable:
- Expertise in working on impact evaluation of programs.
- Good at data analysis using STATA/SPSS/GAMS/SAS
- Good knowledge of Econometric techniques
- Very good knowledge of English
- Ph.D. degree in Agricultural Economics/ Economics.
- Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics/ Economics with 55% marks in the aggregate or equivalent grade.
- A minimum of six (6) years of teaching experience in University/College, and/or experience in research in a contractual/regular faculty position of which not less than 5 years as a regular Associate Professor at the University/
- College/National level institution, including experience in guiding candidates for research at Doctoral Level with evidence,
- Contribution to educational innovations, design of new curricula and courses, and technology-mediated teaching
- of the learning process with evidence of having guided doctoral candidates and research students.
- The minimum API score for applicants for the post of professor shall be 300, during the assessment period of any three years in the immediately preceding six calendar years(January 1 to December 31) based on the Performance-Based Appraisal System (PBAS) developed by UGC in its regulations approved by ISEC (to be filled in the attached Excel sheet and submitted soft copy).
