Indian Army Agniveer ARO Coimbatore Selection 2022-2023 | Indian Army Agniveer Tiruppur Rally 2022-2023 - Army Recruitment Rally under the aegis of Headquarters Recruiting Zone, Chennai will be conducted by Army Recruiting Office, Coimbatore from 20 Sep 2022 to 01 Oct 2022 at T.E.A Public Matric Higher Secondary School, Avinashi, Distt – Tiruppur (Tamilnadu). Candidates will have to apply online only, on the official web site www.joinindianarmy.nic.in from 05 Jul 2022 to 03 Aug 2022.

- Agniveer Clerk / Store Keeper (Technical) (All Arms) - 17 ½ -21# (#Relaxation upto 23 yrs as one time measure)
- Agniveer Tradesmen (All Arms) 10th pass - 17 ½ -21# (#Relaxation upto 23 yrs as one time measure)
- Agniveer Tradesman 8 th pass (Syce, House Keeper & Mess Keeper) (All Arms) - 17 ½ -21# (#Relaxation upto 23 yrs as one time measure)
- Note.
- The upper age limit has been relaxed from 21 years to 23 years as a onetime measure for the Recruiting Year 2022-23.
- 01 October 2022 will be taken as effective date for determining age eligibility for candidate.
- Education Certificates issued by Education Boards Affiliated to / listed by State/UT Govt, AICTE, CBSE and NIOS only will be considered.
- Candidates applying for Agniveer Tradesman (All Arms) 8th Pass should bring 8th class marks sheet countersigned by the BEO/DEO.
- It is mandatory for the candidates who have passed class 10th with GPA/Grade system to carry their mark sheet obtained from respective board. Candidate not carrying mark sheet will be disqualified in documentation.
Salary :
- Agniveer Package:
- The pay & emoluments of Agniveers will be as given below :-
- (aa) Year 1. Customised Package - ₹ 30,000/- (plus applicable allowances.)
- (ab) Year 2. Customised Package - ₹33,000/- (plus applicable allowances.)
- (ac) Year 3. Customised Package - ₹ 36,500/- (plus applicable allowances.)
- (ad) Year 4. Customised Package - ₹ 40,000/- (plus applicable allowances.)
- From the above package, 30% will be compulsorily deposited every month in a corpus which will be matched by the GOI. Balance amount less the corpus contribution will be the in-hand component.
- Seva Nidhi Package: On discharge at 4 years, the corpus of ₹5.02 lakhs will be matched by the GOI, an amount of ₹10.04 lakhs and accrued interest will be given to the Agniveers. In case of Agniveers who are subsequently selected for enrolment in IA as regular cadre, the “Seva Nidhi” package to be paid to them will comprise only their contribution including accrued interest thereon. In the case of Agniveers exiting service before the end of their engagement period on their own request, the individual’s Seva Nidhi package, accumulated as on date, will be paid with the applicable rate of interest. In such cases, no Govt contribution to Seva Nidhi Package will be entitled. The “Seva Nidhi” will be exempt from Income Tax.
- Payment Modality- Seva Nidhi Package. Two options to receive Seva Nidhi package will be provided to each Agniveer, with an aim to provide financial loans for self employment/ entrepreneurship through a bank Guarantee as also to meet immediate/ incidental expenses, on exit. Firm details will be promulgated separately.
- Allowances. The Agniveer pay is a composite package and he will not be eligible for any Dearness Allowance and Military Service Pay. He will get applicable Risk & Hardship, Ration, Dress and Travel allowances as decided by the GOI from time to time.
- Agniveers will be exempted from making any contribution in Armed Forces Personnel Provident Fund or any other Provident Fund.
- There shall be no entitlement towards gratuity or pensionary benefits for Agniveers enrolled through this Scheme.
- Life Insurance Cover: Agniveer will be provided non-contributory life insurance cover of ₹48 lakhs for the duration of their engagement period and they will not be eligible for Army Group Insurance Fund (AGIF) Schemes / benefits.
Education Qualification :
- Agniveer (General Duty) (All Arms) - Class 10th/ Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For boards following grading system, minimum of ‘D’ Grade (33%- 40%) in individual subjects or grades with 33% in individual subjects and overall aggregate of ‘C2’ grade or equivalent corresponding to 45% in aggregate.
- Note: Candidates with valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving License will be given preference for Driver requirements.
- Minimum Physical QR:
- Height (CM): 166
- Weight (KG): Proportionate to height and age as per Army Medical Standard given at para 14 of this Notification.
- Chest (CM): 77cms with 5 cms expansion
- Agniveer (Technical) (All Arms) - 10+2/Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject. OR 10+2 / intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths & English from any recognized State Edn Bd or Central Edn Bd to include NIOS and ITI course of min one year in required field with NSQF level 4 or above.
- Minimum Physical QR:
- Height (CM): 165
- Weight (KG): Proportionate to height and age as per Army Medical Standard given at para 14 of this Notification.
- Chest (CM): 77cms with 5 cms expansion
- Agniveer Clerk / Store Keeper (Technical) (All Arms) - 10+2/Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English andMaths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in class XII is mandatory.
- Minimum Physical QR:
- Height (CM): 162
- Weight (KG): Proportionate to height and age as per Army Medical Standard given at para 14 of this Notification.
- Chest (CM): 77 cms with 5 cms expansion
- Agniveer Tradesmen (All Arms) 10th pass -
- Class 10th Simple Pass.
- No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.
- Minimum Physical QR:
- Height (CM): 166
- Weight (KG): Proportionate to height and age as per Army Medical Standard given at para 14 of this Notification.
- Chest (CM): 76 cms with 5 cms expansion
- Agniveer Tradesman 8 th pass (Syce, House Keeper & Mess Keeper) (All Arms) -
- Class 8th simple pass.
- No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored minimum 33% in each subject.
- Minimum Physical QR:
- Height (CM): 166
- Weight (KG): Proportionate to height and age as per Army Medical Standard given at para 14 of this Notification.
- Chest (CM): 76 cms with 5 cms expansion

How to Apply :
- All candidates to log in to www.joinindianarmy.nic.in check their eligibility status and register their profile and register themselves (if not already registered).
- Submission of Online Application (submission of application) will commence from 05 Jul 2022 and close on 03 Aug 2022. Candidates can apply for one category only.
- Candidates will login after 14 Aug 2022 and take print out of the admit card which they will carry to Rally Site.
- Candidates will be allowed to participate in the Rally only if they produce Admit Card.
- Editing/ Correction of Online Application. Online application on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in has edit option available till the registration is open (05 Jul 2022 to 03 Aug 2022). Please use it and correct the details if required / necessary. Candidate must ensure to submit the application again after the edit / correction has been carried out.
