Age Limit :
- Project Scientist-C (Medical) - Not exceeding 40 years
- Research Scientist- II (Non-Medical) - Not exceeding 40 years
- Laboratory Technician - Not exceeding 30 years
- Laboratory Technician - Not exceeding 30 years

Salary :
- Project Scientist-C (Medical) - Rs. 67,000/- + HRA as applicable.
- Research Scientist- II (Non-Medical) - Rs. 67,000/-+HRA(Non-Medical)
- Laboratory Technician - Rs. 18,000/- per month (Consolidated)
- Laboratory Technician - Rs. 18,000/- per month (Consolidated)
Education Qualification :
- Project Scientist-C (Medical) - Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB) after MBBS with one year experience or Postgraduate diploma in medical subjects after MBBS with two years-experience or MBBS degree with 4 years-experience in medical subjects after MBBS Degree.
- Desirable qualification: Post graduate degree/ diploma in public health/ pathology / microbiology/ clinical subjects from recognized University. Additional Post-doctoral research/ teaching experience in relevant subject in recognized Institutes. Knowledge of Computer Applications /Data Management. Knowledge of Biosafety and research ethics. Candidates with experience/ inclination of working in rural tribal area will be given preference.
- Research Scientist- II (Non-Medical) - B. Tech degree in relevant subject with six years R&D / Teaching experience in the relevant subject after B. Tech degree. Or First class master’s degree in the relevant subjects from a recognized university with 4 years R&D / teaching experience in the relevant subject after 1st class masters degree. Or Second class M. Sc. + Ph. D degree in the relevant subject from a recognized University with 4 years R&D / teaching experience in the relevant subject after M. Sc. + Ph. D NOTES: i. Candidates with Doctorate degree in Life Sciences / relevant subjects shall be recruited as Research Scientist I (Medical) after requisite training under Talent Search Scheme as per Schedule-IV. ii. PhD in the relevant subject shall be treated equivalent to three years experience. iii. M. Tech in the relevant subjects shall be treated equivalent to two years experience
- Desirable qualification: i. Doctorate degree or M. Tech degree in Life Sciences from a recognized university for candidates with first class relevant degree. ii. Additional Post doctoral research / training experience in relevant subjects in recognized institute(s). iii. Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools / Data Management. iv. Experience in Genomics, NGS & Bioinformatics. Track record of first author research articles in reputed peer-reviewed journals & Data analysis.
- Laboratory Technician - 12th Pass in Science subject with two years diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician or one-year DMLT plus one-year required experience in a recognized organization or two years filed/ laboratory experience* in Govt. recognized Organization. *B.Sc. degree shall be treated as 3 years experience.
- Desirable qualification: Preference will be given to those who have experience in microbiology and molecular biology, animal handling and related work, good understanding of biosafety.
- Laboratory Technician - 12th Pass in Science subject with two years diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician or one-year DMLT plus one-year required experience in a recognized organization or two years filed/ laboratory experience* in Govt. recognized Organization. *B.Sc. degree shall be treated as 3 years experience.

- Candidates who wish to appear for the walk-in-interview can download the application format given in the website of ICMR-NIRTH (www.nirth.res.in) and ICMR, New Delhi (www.main.icmr.nic.in). Duly filled application along-with copies of certificates should be submitted at ICMR-NIRTH, Jabalpur (M.P) at the time of Walk-in-interview between 9 AM to 11 AM only. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the venue after 11 AM. Late/delayed/incomplete applications will be summarily rejected without any intimation, only eligible candidates will be allowed for interview. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification. Candidates are required to mention their complete address with Pin Code, Mobile number and E-mail ID.
