Total Vacancy - 857 Posts

Age Limit :

• Head Constable (AWO/TPO) in Delhi Police - 18 to 27 years as on 01.07.2022 (i.e. candidates born not before 02-07-1995 and not later than 01-07-2004 are eligible to apply).
• The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Candidates Relaxation in Upper Age limit will be provided as per Govt. Rules. Go through SSC official Notification 2022 for more reference

Salary :

• Head Constable (AWO/TPO) in Delhi Police - Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25500-81100)

Education Qualification :

• Passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) from a recognized Board with Science & Mathematics as subjects.
• OR
• National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the trade of Mechanic-cum Operator Electronic Communication System.
• Professional Attainments:
• Proficiency in Computer Operation Qualifying in Nature.
• Test of English word processing speed-1000 key depressions in 15 minutes.
• Test of Basic Computer Functions:- Opening/Closing of PC, printing, MS office usage, saving & modification in typed text, paragraph setting & numbering, etc.

Application Fees

• Fee payable: ₹ 100/- (Rupees One hundred only).
• Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Exservicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
• Fee can be paid online through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
• Online fee can be paid by the candidates up to 30.07.2022 (2300 Hours). However, candidates who wish to make the cash payment through challan of SBI, may make the payment in cash at the Branches of SBI within the working hours of bank up to 30.07.2022 provided the challan has been generated by them on or before 29.07.2022 (2300 Hours).

Selection Process

• Computer Based Examination
• Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT)
• Trade Test and
• Test of English Word Processing by Delhi Police Speed-1000 key depression in 15 minutes.
• Test of Basic Computer Functions:- Opening/Closing of PC, printing, MS office usage, saving & modification in typed text, paragraph setting & numbering, etc.

• Candidate(s) fulfilling all the above clearly laid down criteria will have to apply online only through the link on the SSC website in the careers webpage under current openings section i.e. https://ssc.nic.in/ from 08.07.2022 to 29.07.2022. No other mode of application will be accepted.
