Education Qualification :
- Assistant Divisional Officer in the Secretariat (except Legal and Finance Departments):
- Bachelor's degree.
- Drafting experience of not less than five years in the post of Junior Assistant or Assistant or both.
- Assistant Divisional Officer (Finance Department) in the Secretariat:
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or Economics or Statistics from any University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Committee;
- Service for a period of not less than five years in the category of Assistant, including services rendered in the post of Junior Assistant, Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service or Tamil Nadu Justice Ministerial Service.
- Assistant in Secretariat (except Legal and Finance Departments):
- Bachelor's Degree from any University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Committee.
- Ministerial service in the Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service or in the Tamil Nadu Judiciary in the Junior Assistant category or in the Assistant category or both, not less than three years after graduation.
- Assistant in Secretariat (Other than Law and Finance Departments):
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Economics or Statistics.
- A period of not less than three years in the Tamil Nadu Ministry of Justice or Tamil Nadu Ministry of Justice, either in the Junior Assistant category or in the Assistant category or in both categories.
- Recommended educational qualifications for these posts are 10th + HSC or equivalent + U.G. Must have passed the required qualification in the following order of courses. Graduation as required under Section 25 of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016. The results should be declared on or before the declared date
