Now, BSF collecting the application forms from 10th, 12th candidates to fill their current job vacancies. • ASI (Steno) & HC (Min)

Age Limit :

• BSF job required a minimum of 18 years to a maximum of 25 years with good sprite.
• Age Relaxation:
• The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules.

Salary :

• ASI (Steno) – Level – 5 (Rs. 29,200 – 92,300) in pay matrix.
• HC (Min) – Level – 4 (Rs. 25,500 – 81,100) in pay matrix

Education Qualification :

• ASI (Steno):
• Educational Qualification: Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from a recognized Board or University or equivalent.
• Skill: Shorthand @ 80 words per minute in English OR in Hindi in 10 minutes. Transcription of dictation in English in 50 minutes OR in Hindi in 65 minutes, on computer.
• HC (Min):
• Educational Qualification: Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from a recognized Board or University or equivalent.
• Skill: 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on the computer.

Application Fees

• Candidates applying for the post of ASI(Steno) and HC(Ministerial) to pay Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) as examination fee through any of the following payment modes:-
• Net banking of any bank.
• Credit/Debit Card of any bank.
• UPI
• Wallet
• NOTE
• Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, BSF candidates, Female candidates, and Ex-Servicemen are exempted from payment of examination fee. However, Rs.40/- plus taxes = Rs.47.2/- will be charged to every candidate including exempted category as “service charge” by the CSC.
• Payment of examination fee will be accepted only through Online mode.

• Second Phase
• Physical Measurement.
• Shorthand Test for ASI(Steno).
• Typing Speed Test for HC(Min).
• Documentation (Checking of Documents)
• Medical Examination.
